Hello folks,
It’s been a while since I posted here. I’ll soon be posting some non-cooling related reviews to this site, but in the meantime here’s an update with the most interesting products that I have recently tested.
CPU Coolers:
I’ve recently updated my testing methodology to include thermal loads that stress both the CPU and GPU, and to demonstrate the value of these benchmarks I retested Arctic’s Liquid Freezer 360 with Intel’s i7-13700K. An article explaining my new testing methods is available at this link!
Tryx Panorama 360 ARGB – this is the strongest cooler I’ve tested since updating my benchmarks, and features a one-of-a-kind wrap-around AMOLED screen with a faux-3D effect. The full review is available at Tom’s Hardware!
Thermalright Peerless Assassin 140 – Thermalright is at it again, releasing another banger of a cooler with the PA140. [Review Link]
Thermal Pastes:
I tested a large variety of thermal compounds including phase change materials like PTM 7950, thermal pasts, liquid metals, and unique offerings like Thermal Grizzly’s Kryosheet for Tom’s Hardware. Check it out at this link!
SSD Heatsinks:
Akasa Gecko NVMe SSD heatsink cooler – they call it a gecko, but it looks like a snail. This cooler is a bit different than the competition, incorporating a blower-style fan.
